🌱 Your MiriCanvas editing experience is now unified
Have you ever noticed that designs you created earlier look a little different from newer ones when you open them? 👀
Until now, MiriCanvas has been running two separate editing environments side by side. Going forward, we're updating everything so that all your designs open smoothly in a single, latest environment.
✨ What's better about the latest environment?
① Get new features first
New editing tools, templates, and collaboration features will roll out in the latest environment first.
② Faster and more stable editing
We've improved rendering and saving performance, so even complex designs stay smooth to work on.
③ Continuous improvements
With everything running in one environment, issues and improvement ideas get addressed more quickly.
⚠️ You don't need to move or re-save anything. Just click a design card in your Workspace as usual, and it'll open right away in the latest environment.
📅 When and how does this happen?
The update rolls out to users gradually. Rather than switching everyone at once, we're rolling it out in stages over several weeks so the transition stays smooth and stable.
💡 While your update is in progress, you'll see a notice banner at the top of your Workspace, along with a welcome screen the first time you enter the latest environment.
If you don't see the banner yet, your turn simply hasn't come up—just keep using MiriCanvas as usual.
Rollout period : July 28, 2026 – September 22, 2026
🙌 What do I need to do?
Nothing at all. Every design you've made carries over to the latest environment automatically.
① Open a design card in your Workspace and it'll open in the latest environment automatically.
② Your design files stay exactly as they are—there's no need to recreate anything.
③ Saving, sharing, and downloading all work the same way as before.
Want to learn how the latest environment works?
You can tap the How-to button inside the editor anytime to explore what's new.
Editing tools, templates, collaboration features, and everything that's changed are all explained in one place. Open it only when you need it, so it never gets in the way of your work.

Does something look a little off after the update?
In rare cases, a design's alignment or layout may appear slightly shifted. In most cases you can simply keep editing, but if something looks off, you can compare it against the original from the welcome screen shown the first time you enter the latest environment.

🙋🏻♀️ Frequently asked questions
Q. What happens to the designs I've already made?
A. They stay exactly as they are. Each one updates to the latest environment automatically the moment you open it in your Workspace—no moving or saving required.
Q. My design looks a little off after the update.
A. In rare cases, alignment or layout may appear slightly shifted. Most of the time you can just keep editing, but if you'd like, you can check the original via [ Compare with previous version designs ] on the welcome screen shown the first time you enter the latest environment.
Q. Can I compare it with the previous version?
A. Yes—use [ Compare with previous version designs ] on the welcome screen shown the first time you enter the latest environment. Once you've edited a design in the latest environment, everything runs in a single environment, so comparison is no longer available after that.
Q. How are newly created designs handled?
A. Any design you create during the rollout period is built in the latest environment from the start. You can edit it right away, with no special indicator.
Q. Can I postpone the update if I'd rather not switch?
A. This is an improvement rolling out to all MiriCanvas users, so there's no option to postpone or revert it individually. It rolls out in stages, though, so in most cases the transition happens seamlessly.
Q. What should I do if I run into a problem while editing?
A. Please let us know through our customer support channel. If you tell us which screen you were on and what action triggered the issue, we'll look into it quickly.
