Hello, this is MiriCanvas.
A new Editor toolbar has been added to the MiriCanvas editor. If you've used MiriCanvas for a while, the familiar screen may look a little different at first. This article walks you through what changed, and how to switch back to the previous style if you'd like.
| ℹ️The Editor toolbar is currently rolling out to some users first. We're expanding it to everyone step by step, so it'll reach your screen soon. |
What's changed?
Before, when you selected an element like text or an image, you'd change things like color and size in the left panel. Now you can make those changes right from the Editor toolbar at the top of the screen.
Select text → font, size, color, and alignment appear at the top
Select an image → crop, filters, and opacity appear
Select a shape → fill color, border, and rounded corners appear
When you want to fine-tune, tap a tool at the top to open a panel and keep adjusting there.
What gets better?
Your most-used tools sit together at the top, so you spend less time hunting for them.
The screen feels cleaner, so it's easier to focus on what you're working on.
Whether you're on a computer, phone, or tablet, you can edit the same way with ease.
If you've used other design tools, this will feel familiar right away.
Prefer the previous style? You can switch anytime
If you prefer the previous style, you can switch back anytime.
Open the Main Menu (≡) at the top left of the editor.
Under Editor Tool Settings, choose your preferred editing experience.
See the image below for details.
Both the new and previous styles will stay available together for a while, so you'll have plenty of time to get comfortable.
FAQ
Q. Why can I see the new editor when others can't?
The new editor is rolling out to a limited group of users first, so we can make sure it runs smoothly. If it's your first time seeing it, a short intro popup shows you what's new.
