✏️ How to Use AI Presentation 〜Easy Guide〜

With MiriCanvas AI Presentation, you can instantly generate presentation decks with AI.

This guide walks you through the basics of using AI Presentation.

📑 Contents

📌 Step 1. Open AI Presentation

You can access the AI Presentation feature in two main ways.

Option ① From the editor

  1. Select "Create a design" at the top right of the MiriCanvas homepage to open the editor.

  2. Click the "ai" icon at the bottom left, then click "AI Presentation".

Option ② From miricle AI

  1. Select "miricle AI" at the top of the MiriCanvas home page.

  2. On the screen that appears, click "AI Presentation".

📌 Step 2. Tell AI what you want to create

In this step, you tell AI what you want to create. Enter your content and set the number of pages.

Step 2-① Enter your content

You can give your content to AI in two ways.

Type it in as text Describe the topic or content of the slides you want to create. You can keep it as simple as "About MiriCanvas AI Presentation," or get more specific like "Keep it beginner-friendly, with short sentences and bullet points."

💡 Tip: You can enter up to 20,000 characters, so feel free to paste in your entire draft! 🪄

Add a file (👑 Pro plan only) Already have source material? Upload it with the “Attach content" button, and AI will analyze it to build your slides.

The following file formats are supported:

Type Formats
Documents PDF, Word (docx)
Presentations PowerPoint (pptx)
Sheets & Data Excel (xlsv), CSV
Text Markdown (md), Text (txt)

💡 Tip: Uploading a file and adding text instructions gives you an even more polished result ✨

Step 2-② Set the number of pages

You can let AI decide the number of pages, or set it yourself.

  • With the auto setting on: AI picks the right number of slides based on your input or uploaded file.

  • With the auto setting off: Set anywhere from 6 to 30 slides. AI adjusts the outline and level of detail to fit the count you choose.

When you're done, click the "▶" button at the bottom right to move on.

📌 Step 3. Review the brief AI created

Based on your input, AI plans out the overall flow of your deck — and you can watch each page take shape in real time.

🗂️ How your deck is organized

Term Meaning
Title page The very first title page (one page)
Chapter A unit that groups related pages
Page A single slide

Each page contains a key message (the main point of that page) and main content (the supporting details).

💬 The "Plan summary" card

Once the outline is complete, a "Plan summary" card appears, summarizing the direction AI has taken. You can check three things at a glance:

  • Topic: What the presentation is about

  • Purpose: What the deck is for

  • Audience: Who the presentation is for

If anything looks off, you can fix it right away in the next step.

📌 Step 4. Refine the content and flow

The content and flow AI created is ready to use 👌 but if anything's not quite right, it's easy to refine. There are two ways: Chat with AI or Direct edit

① Chat with AI

Type what you want into the chat box at the bottom of the screen, and AI will make the changes for you.

  • "Add a few more pages"

  • "Change the audience to beginners"

  • "Add more detail to page 3"

  • "Make the whole thing more concise"

You can even make big-picture changes like — the purpose, audience, or overall flow — right from the chat.

② Direct edit

Press the "Edit" button to switch to an editing screen where you can work on the content directly.

📝 Edit text Click anything in the outline to edit it right where it is.

📁 Add / delete chapters

  • Add: Click "↑ Add chapter" next to a chapter heading to add a new one.

  • Delete: Press the trash button on a chapter to delete it along with all of its pages.

📄 Add / delete / reorder pages

  • Add: Click the "+" line that appears between, above, or below page cards.

  • Delete: Press the trash button at the top right of a card.

  • Reorder: Grab the drag handle on the left of a card to reorder it or move it to another chapter.

✏️ Add / delete main-content items Use the "+" next to an item to add one (up to 6 per page), and "×" to delete one.

When you're done editing, press "Apply changes" or press "Cancel" to revert.

③ Compare with previous results

As you keep editing, your previous versions stack up. Press "Previous results" to compare an earlier version with the current one, and bring back the one you like with "Confirm with this content".

Once you're happy with the outline, press the "Choose design" button at the bottom to move to the next step.

📌 Step 5. Choose design

Pick a template that suits your content. Select one on the left to preview its cover and body design on the right.

Two modes to choose from

The design selection screen opens in default mode. If you'd rather use the previous approach, switch with the "Use previous version" button at the top right. Each mode has its own set of templates.

🟢 Default mode (recommended 👈) Just pick one of the newly prepared templates, and AI takes care of the rest.

Our deck keeps the polished quality of designer-made templates, and AI automatically picks the layout that best fits each page. You spend less effort, and the result is a professional deck with a clear visual flow rather than a wall of bullet points.

⚪ Previous version Use this mode to build with the previous templates. It’s a good fit when you want to hand-pick the layout of every page.

From business to casual, choose from a wide range of styles to match your purpose and create a deck that's all your own.

Select the design you like and press “Generate with this design" to generate your slides.

📌 Step 6. Finish in the editor

Once your slides are generated, review the finished deck in the editor and fine-tune the details.

In the editor, you can freely adjust all kinds of things: use various AI features, edit or add text, fonts, and animations, add new images, change layouts, and more!

When your deck is complete, use the "Download" button at the top right to download it in various formats such as PDF or PPTX.

💡 Tip: If you're printing for distribution, we recommend downloading as PDF (for print) 👍

You can also click the icon at the top right to run a slideshow and see exactly how it will look.

With the share feature, you can invite other members to view and edit the deck together.

💡 Tip: Under "Share" > "Publish" > “More options," turn on "Use password" and set a password to safely share a web link to your slideshow 💁‍♀️
