Using the Layer Feature

You can select elements using the layer feature without having to click on them directly with the mouse.

For small or hidden elements that are difficult to select, try using the layer feature. 😊

*️⃣Activating the Layer Feature

1. Enable the 'Layer Order' feature from the full menu at the top left of the editor.

💡Shortcut Key: (Window)Ctrl + Shift + Y / (Mac OS)Cmd + Shift + Y

2. You can view and select a list of elements used in the design from the layer list on the right.

When you select an element, you can see its position in the editing area, and the element's properties panel will appear on the left.

*️⃣Utilizing the Layer Feature

1. Renaming Layers

You can double-click the layer name and change it to your desired name.

*This changes the name for distinguishing the layers; the text content in the editing area will not be altered!

2. Multi-selecting Layers

If you select a layer while pressing Ctrl or Shift, you can select multiple layers.

*You can select multiple layers, change order, delete, and set up groups.

3. Changing Layer Order

You can change the order in which you want by clicking and dragging the layers.

It's useful for checking elements that overlap with other elements or are small in size, and changing the order so you can choose with the mouse cursor.

4. Deleting Layers

Select the layer you want to delete, then click the trash bin icon at the bottom or press the Delete key to remove it.

5. Locking Layers

You can lock a layer by clicking the lock button next to the layer name or by selecting the layer and clicking the lock button at the bottom.

Locked layers cannot be deleted, multi-selected, grouped, or reordered, so please unlock them before using those functions.

*Full lock or style lock is set based on the number of clicks, and the lock is unlocked by clicking the lock in style lock.

*Select multiple layers and click the lock button at the bottom to lock all of the selected layers.

6. Layer Group Settings

Select multiple layers (more than two) to set as a group, and click the group button at the bottom to set it as a group.

You can also set up a group with other groups that have already been set up.
