Q: What is the Add seat?

A: It refers to the additional fee incurred when you invite more members beyond the number of seats you’ve already paid for.

Here, a seat is defined as a spot available for a member to participate in the workspace!

You can invite members by clicking the 'Invite Member' button in the upper right corner of the workspace's [People] menu and entering the account information (email) of the member you wish to invite.

At this time, a popup will also inform you about the additional charge that occurs when adding a seat (inviting a member).

As you can see in the pop-up, if you have used up all the seats you paid for, the remaining seats will be displayed as '0'!

For example, if you use the service as a single person without inviting a member, There is one seat paid for and the number of remaining seats will be marked '0'.

Therefore, if you add a member midway after the subscription is completed, the number of seats will also be added.

 

The payment amount for additional seats will be charged on different dates depending on the subscription method (monthly/yearly), so please refer to the following!

 

Monthly subscription
Yearly subscription

'Additional seat fee' + Regular payment amount based on the number of seats (members)

A total of two payments will be processed on the next billing date.

Payment will be processed on the 1st of the following month based on the member addition date.
  • When inviting members during the subscription period, the prorated cost for the usage period will be billed under the name 'Add seat'
  • The additional cost of the seat will be set immediately after the invitation of the member, and the amount will not be canceled even if the member is removed, so please be careful about the invitation of the member!

 

If you do not wish to have the invited member's regular payment on the scheduled next billing date, you can remove the member from the [People] menu on the left side of the workspace page.

⚠️ Please read when removing a member!!

You must move all design documents and elements of the member being removed to the 'Shared Drive' or transfer them to that member's personal workspace.

(If you remove a member without moving the documents, all design documents and elements in the removed member's personal space, 'My Drive', will be deleted!!!)

If you need to move documents to a personal workspace  you must use the 👉 '' feature to duplicate and transfer the design documents one by one.
