Q. What is the 'Add seat'?

A. It's an additional charge that occurs when you invite more members beyond the number of seats you've already paid for. A "seat" refers to a spot that allows a member to join the workspace!

*️⃣Charges are based on the number of seats.

 

The owner or admin of a workspace can manage members (add, remove, change roles, etc.) from the [People] menu.

If all seats are in use and you add a new member, an additional seat charge will apply.

This information is also shown in the member invitation pop-up!

* The 'additional seat' charge is billed on a prorated basis according to the number of members and the number of days from the date they were invited to the end of the subscription period.

You can also check the number of remaining seats in the pop-up window.

  • When all purchased seats have been used
  • If all purchased seats are used, and a member is added
    • An 'add seat' fee will be incurred.

The 'add seat' fee payment date varies depending on the billing cycle (monthly or annually).

Please refer to the table below!

Monthly Yearly
  • Charged on the next billing date
  • Charged on the 1st of the next month based on the member addition date
  • For example, if the next billing date is May 5th
    • Two charges will occur on May 5th
      • 'Add Seat' fee
      • Monthly fee for the number of members confirmed on the billing date if the plan continues to be used
  • For example, if the member addition date is May 5th
    • Charged on June 1st, the following month

*The 'add seat' fee is applied immediately once a member invitation is completed. 
*Even if a member is removed afterward, the 'add seat' fee will not be canceled, so please invite members carefully.
